We at NY Boat Charter are fortunate to have the most professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly staff! They make each charter enjoyable because they truly love what they do, and it shows and are the heart and soul of Royal Princess.
If you read our testimonials, you will read a lot about “Carol” – who was our fabulous Maitre D, and a veteran in this industry. She passed away in February of 2017 but her lively spirit is with us every charter. We have been fortunate to have so many loyal and excellent crew members over the years. Like any organization, many of our crew and staff have moved on for more permanent positions elsewhere.
2019 was a transition year and we are so grateful to have added more family to our mix. Chef Maria Bellanich and her husband/Chief Engineer, Marco Bellanich, are truly an amazing duo. They owned Festiva for ten years and now are the brains and brawn of Royal Princess. Chef Maria, along with Chef Steve, provision and prepare cuisine with confidence and flaire. Marco makes sure everything runs smoothly – from the engines to anything that needs flushing! Omar handles lines, maintains the vessel on a daily basis, and makes sure dishes are washed without spots during charters. Captain Edgar Montalvo has been our steady captain. Rich Moore, Jr. is Manager, often meeting clients prior to events and for showings. He pays close attention to details and is always one step ahead. Gabrielle is our newest Maitre D and doing a wonderful job.
Before each charter, Lezlee coordinates menu and itinerary details with you, the client, to generate an Event Summary which includes a floorplan for your event. The Event Summary is approved by you, the client, and then distributed to our staff so everyone is on the same page. By the time you step aboard the Royal Princess, you will be treated royally, with intuitive services and all the trappings of privilege that you would expect – and some you wouldn’t! That’s why we appropriately named her Royal Princess!
